Physics Partners is working in partnership with Future First to develop physics CPD to support the Planet Possibility careers programme. Using some of the resources from the programme, we will consider the impact that unconscious bias and stereotypes have on children as they grow and the factors that may put off girls from taking physics based careers. We then look at how one school has been building a Physics curriculum which educates their students about the breadth of different people involved in Physics, to enable all students to feel reflected within the subject. This will involve easy to use activities for teachers, methods of educating teachers and a look at the language the teachers use to describe Physics.
